Welcome To The Place and Lime Place!

Welcome to the site of our two lovely shops in the

historic city of Lichfield, Staffordshire.

Our shops, The Place and Lime Place, are situated opposite each other near Lichfield Cathedral in the charming cobbled Dam Street.

We sell a huge range of fabric, sewing machines, haberdashery and quilting equipment, craft and card making supplies, scrapbooking items, lovingly restored furniture, textile products and handmade gifts from local 'designer makers' and also well known designers.   Lime Place is the local outlet for a number of beautiful, well known brands such as East of India and Gisela Graham.

We also provide a wide variety of crafting workshops and classes aimed at everyone from beginners to professionals!  Our classes are managed by experienced and talented tutors who are 'true crafters' and love to pass on their skills and knowledge.
