Welcome To The Place and Lime Place!

Welcome to the site of our lovely craft shop and studio workshop,
providing everything for your crafting needs.

Our shop, The Place, is situated in the charming cobbled Dam Street near Lichfield Cathedral in Staffordshire.  We also have a unique studio workshop called Lime Place, offering crafting workshops and classes, which is located on a private estate on the outskirts of Barton-Under-Needwood.

We sell a huge range of fabric (especially quilting), sewing machines, haberdashery and quilting accessories, Mettler cottons, craft and card making supplies, scrapbooking items, textile products and handmade gifts from local 'designer makers' who share our love of sewing and making 'hand made'. We provide a wide varhiety of crafting workshops and classes aimed at everyone from beginners to professionals!  Our classes are held at The studio - Lime Place and are managed by qualified, experienced and talented tutors who are 'true crafters' and love to pass on their skills and knowledge.
